It was originally established in the late 1940’s on Third Street in Olde Naples and moved to Fifth Avenue South in the 1980’s. April Wood became the fourth owner in 1992. April grew up in Lynchburg Virginia, where her parents ran their own floral shop along with greenhouses. She is thrilled to have such a creative, hands on job in this unique region of Southwest Florida. Everyday she embraces the challenges of staying cutting edge and staying up to date with the newest trends in flowers. She is thankful to work with such a beautiful product and enjoys the reward of helping people make their special occasions memorable. She and her partner, Chuck Foster, enjoy living in Naples with their two Chihuahuas, Cinnamon and Sugar, and their Min-Pin Chihuahua, Albert. In the near future, Grace Lakes will be adding a Doggy Corner to the shop for dog lovers. |
