Starting the day off with a cup of coffee is generally what keeps me happy and energized; but, what about if there was something else that could do the job? Something that didn’t quit on me after a couple of hours and boosted my energy, research has shown that flowers have been linked to mental health and wellness.

Park and Mattson performed a study in 2008 that has shown that hospital rooms with brighter colored flowers and plants, directly correlated with patients who required less pain medication, had lower blood pressure, lower pulse, and lower anxiety. These generally healthier patients also had a more positive scope on life.

Adding a bright-colored flower arrangement might be the ticket to a more cheerful mindset. It’s time to feed your mind and body with a different kind of food! If you want to get energized, lose the energy drink by adding a splash of color to your home or office!
