Bouquets-
Grace Lakes Florist specializes in unique personalized floral bouquets
for weddings. We want to make sure each bouquet represents the taste of the bride.
Every bride is special and her flowers will be too. Whether your preference is colorful
fun and flirty with tropical bright flowers, elegant and demure with white roses and
hydrangeas, or anywhere in between, we have the resources to create
anything.
We understand flowers represent a variety of different emotions and
values- roses for love, lilies for virtue, hydrangea for perseverance, iris for
inspiration, lilac for first love, orchids for delicate beauty and so on. The tradition
of the wedding flower spans time and cultures. Spaniards chose orange blossoms because
the orange tree both blooms and fruits simultaneously which represented fulfillment and
happiness to them. Ancient Greeks carried ivy as a symbol of everlasting love. Brides
in Tudor, England carried marigolds dipped in rosewater. Believed to be an aphrodisiac,
the brides ate them after the ceremony. During Victorian ages, as the bride left the
wedding festivities, she tossed her bouquet to a friend. This was done to keep her
friend safe and to offer her fortune. Grace Lakes will personally work with you to
create a bridal bouquet for you that incorporates the traditions, emotions, and values
you desire.
